FAA ATP test vs JAA ATPL test?
Category: GroundSchool EASA ATPL / CPL / IR

Question / Issue:
Are the questions in the FAA ATP test the same as in the JAA ATPL tests?

Solution:
The FAA and the JAA ATPL written tests are completely different from each other.
  • For an FAA ATP, you take ONE written test.
  • For a JAA ATPL, you take FOURTEEN written tests
  • While there is some incidental content similarity here and there, the question banks are completely different and not related in any way.
