Where is my Jeppesen Airway Route Manual?
Category: SimPlates

Question / Issue:
Help! I ordered the SimPlates 2004 + Jeppesen Airway Route Manual. I received the SimPlates 2004 portion .. where is my Jeppesen Airway Route Manual?

Solution:
First of all, thank you for your order!

The two pieces of your order are shipped separately and from separate locations. Specifically, your airway route manual is coming from an airline training facility that has been kind enough to divert some of these for simulator pilots (n.b.--they do this as more or less a favor--neither we nor they make any money to speak of from this).

Anyway, your Jeppesen ARM order has been transmitted to them and your Airway Route Manual IS on its way to you--it will just take some time to arrive. We have had reports of the item arriving 2+ weeks after the SimPlates portion. Why? There appear to be a number of reasons:

  • Postal. The item is HEAVY and postal and freight services seem to take their time shipping it.
  • Reprint. In May 2004, the Jeppesen ARM is being reprinted. This is causing occasional minor slow-downs in the supply chain. (Note: the reprint is the same as the previous print).
  • Airline Training Center. While we ship your SimPlates promptly, occasionally the airline is a bit slower.
All we can ask you to do is to please be patient--the item IS coming.

Actually, when you received your SimPlates 2004 in the post you may have seen a sticker on the back of the package telling you that the Airway Route Manual would come a bit later. Perhaps we need to make this wording a bit stronger as people are emailing us nevertheless.

The Good News: if you're anything like the customers who have emailed us so far who have received their Jeppesen Airway Route Manuals from us, you will be happy as a claim once you see the quality of the item. It's worth the wait!

Thank you for your patience!
