Run-Time Error 430 on Win95/98 |
|
|
Question / Issue:
Help! I get a run-time error 430 ("Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface") in RideReady (or AirCards).
Solution:
No easy solution to this, but here is one possible fix:
Visit http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/downloads/default.aspx and download and install both:
- MDAC 2.8 (or whatever the latest version is)
- Jet 4.0 SP8 for Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 (or whatever the latest version is).
After installation, reboot and restart the affected program. This may solve your problem (fingers crossed).
