What is my version of SimPlates 2004?
Category: SimPlates

Question / Issue:
What is my version of SimPlates 2004?

Solution:
[--- UPDATED: 4/18/2004 4:52:05 AM ---] To find your version number, click on 'Help/About' from the main menu. The version number you have is written in red at the bottom of the page.

One user expressed concern that while he had just ordered the software, the CD-ROM he received still had v1.0 despite the fact that v1.13 was available. The simple fact is that like virtually every software company in the world (including Microsoft, for example), it is not practical for us to make new CD-ROMs every time a minor patch or upgrade comes out. This is because CD-ROMs must be manufactured in a quantity of at least 1000 to make sense... and when you consider that if SimPlates 2004 sells a total of 1000 we would consider it a success you can see why this is not practical.

Like virtually every other software company in the world, we invite you to download the latest patches from our website.
