Thanks to our wholly-owned PilotNav.com system, Safelog features 80,165 public and private airports, heliports, seaplane landing places, and more. Nearly all are geo-referenced for quick, automatic calculation of day/night values, flight distances, and more. Our system is quite sophisticated and accurate - we even keep a historic time-coded list of time zone databases so that Safelog's automatic calculations of such values can continue to be correct, worldwide, even when time zones change.

It's almost certainly the world's largest airport database. Yes, you heard that right, and it's no exaggeration. Our PilotNav.com airport databases is regularly updated from a number of authoritative and quasi-authoritative sources. In the event that you happen to fly to a location not in our database, Safelog offers you the ability to add your own custom airports / locations as well.

For several countries, our aircraft database is updated with AIRAC cycles. When you do a 'full' sync of any Safelog app with our cloud servers, the latest airport database will be transferred for local use on your device.
