Where can I take my FAA written test?
Category: GroundSchool FAA Knowledge Test Prep

Question / Issue:
Where can I take my FAA written test? (USA or International)

Solution:
Most FAA written tests are given by one of two organizations - CATS and LaserGrade.

To find the testing center nearest you, please visit:

Please note that CATS and LaserGrade FAA test locations are often at aiports, flight schools, etc.

Our GroundSchool series of FAA written test prep software will help you prepare for your written test. However, most people will need to contact CATS or LASERGRADE to actually take the test. GroundSchool features modes which emulate both CATS and LASERGRADE computers so that there will be no surprises!
