Check for device updates
- Open your device's Settings or Control Panel.
- Find the system or software-update section.
- Install the available non-beta system and security updates recommended for your device. Let installation finish and follow any on-screen instructions.
- Restart the device, then try syncing again.
Allow background updates to complete before testing sync. The update-menu names vary by operating system.
