Every holder of a medical certificate issued in accordance with JAR-FCL Part 3 (Medical) who is aware of Any significant personal injury involving incapacity to function as a member of a flight crew, or any illness involving incapacity to function as a member of a flight crew, or being pregnant:

A. |
shall inform the authority in writing as soon as the period of 21 days has elapsed in the case of illness, injury or pregnancy. The medical certificate shall be deemed to be suspended upon the occurrence if such injury or the elapse of such period illness or the confirmation of the pregnancy
|
B. |
shall inform the authority in writing of such injury or pregnancy, and as soon as the period of 21 days has elapsed in the case of illness. The medical certificate shall be deemed to be suspended upon the occurrence if such injury or the elapse of such period illness or the confirmation of the pregnancy
|
C. |
In the case of injury only the suspension shall be lifted upon the holder being medically examined under arrangements made by the authority and being pronounced fit to function as a member of the flight crew, or in the case of illness upon the authority exempting, subject to such conditions as it thinks fit, the holder from the requirement of a medical examination
|
D. |
In the case of pregnancy only after birth will the licence suspension be revoked
|
