Get a reward of up to $15 credit per new question that you submit to us!
We aim to provide the best preparation materials for FAA Knowledge tests, period. Because of FAA changes, however, occasionally you may run into new questions during the actual administration of your exam that are new to us (and also new to other makers of FAA knowledge test preparation materials).
Should you run into a 'new' question, we'd love to hear about it. Please fill out this form to the best of your ability. When new questions do come up, our editorial staff will work to research and verify the questions and then add then to add them our test prep material in a timely manner. This material will then be avaialble to all users using the 'update' feature in the individual titles. Our system allows for regular users to get the latest and greatest updates promptly and transparently.
As a show of thanks, we're prepared to offer a reward (also known as a "bounty") for each new question that is provided for us. Alternately, you may submit anonymously if you wish.
The value of the bounty will be as follows: each submission to us will be graded on a score of 0 through 5 basically depending on the criteria described below (though ultimate discretion as to awarding points rests with our editorial staff):
- 5 points: You provide to us a new question that is not listed in our database. You provide an exact or very very close approximation of the actual text of the question as given during the test administration and provide all of the answer choices.
- 4 points: You provide to us a new question as above, but either you provide only the correct answer or your wording is close but inexact.
- 3 points: You provide to us a new question as above, but, while you have conveyed the gist of the question, the wording is inexact.
- 2 points: As with number 3, but of lower quality or your question actually appears in our database, but is worded substnatially differently than our wording has it (or the answers provided are substantially different).
- 0 points: There are a number of reasons why you may receive zero points (no credit) for a question. These include:
- The question already exists in our database and/or any modifications you propose are trivial or unimportant (punctuation, spelling, insignificant wording differences, etc).
- You do not specify a question, but merely a 'general idea' ("There was a question about clouds that I haven't seen before" will get zero points) or a very vaguely worded question.
Important! if your proposal is for a minor correction to an existing question in our database, please use the question issue reporting feature in the app/software itself. This is typically found via a
'report issue with this question' link at the bottom of the explanation section for that question. While such suggestions are not eligible for rewards per this scheme, we nevertheless sinceerely thank
those who help us by helping us improve our products through that mechanism.
In the case that more than one person provides us the same question between update cycles, we will do our best to be fair.
We want to emphasize that we will be especially generous with points to those of us who provide us with "5 point" questions. We will actually give few "4 point" scores - we'd really like you to try for "5 points!", so, plan ahead!

Bounty / Reward
When you submit your questions, you can choose your reward, which will be one of the following:
- $1 per point, in cash, sent to you via PayPal. You must have a PayPal account to select this option and are responsible for any 'receiving' fees (if any).
- $2 per point, in credit for any Dauntless Aviation software product (excluding physical items such as CD-ROMs and items sold only through third party stores, such as iPhone/iPad and Android apps). Simply choose an item that you'd like, and we'll let you know if you qualify. We'll tend to be gnerous and "round up" for those who have done a nice job in helping us out.
- $3 per point in credit for any Daunless Avition Safelog pilot logbook item available via our website (so, again, exclusing CD-ROMs and items sold only through third party stores, such as iPhone/iPad and Android apps). This includes Safelog PC and SafelogWeb licenses/subscriptions and extensions thereto. A great way to get access to the best electronic logbook system out there. Again, we will be generous towards those who choose this option.
So, for example, a person who submits five "five point" questions for us will receve $75 ($3 * 5 * 5) credit towards a Safelog product. And, again, if this happens to be somewhat close to the full price, you will find us to be generous in terms of "rounding up" to the product you are interested in.
Please note that the decisions of our editors with regards to point/credit issuance will be binding and final. There is no limit to the number of questions that you may submit and potentially receive credit for.
